A ribbon-cutting marked the opening of the newly renovated and expanded Kenyon Woods Middle School, celebrating a new chapter for students, staff and the South Elgin community!
The newly expanded learning environment will welcome sixth graders this fall and features new classrooms, science labs and collaborative spaces designed to support learning, connection and belonging. Kenyon Woods will also launch a new Dual Language Program serving more than 300 multilingual learners.
“All of our Unite U-46 work is a direct result of our community’s shared vision to provide our students with learning environments that support student growth, connection, and long-term success,” Superintendent Dr. Suzanne Johnson said.
Thank you to our U-46 community, staff and partners for helping turn that shared vision into reality. We’re excited for all that’s ahead at Kenyon Woods!
