  • Elgin Fresh Market

    Elgin Fresh Market contribute food for various Lords Park events like our Veteran’s Day activities and our Multicultural evening.

     

    First Christian Church of Elgin

    FCCE has a mentor program with Lords Park that is very successful and targets students who need the most help, socially and emotionally. The church provides volunteers for our Book Fair and Kermes. They also provide beverages for the Back-to-School night and office supplies for classrooms and they host an annual teacher appreciation luncheon, usually held in May.

     

    First Baptist Church of Elgin

    Church provides classroom volunteers/tutors. They also provide shoes at a back to school event in August.

     

    Gail Borden Library

    The GBL provides space for summer programs. This includes weekly Highland Thursdays when we gather to read together and select books each week during the summer. The GBL has also provided space for summer tutoring and computer labs for programs.

     

    Holy Trinity Lutheran Church 

    Church provides mentors for students through Kids Hope partnership.

     

    Kids Hope

    Kids Hope USA pairs an adult with an at risk student to mentor. They make a commitment to meet one hour every week. Social-emotional as well as educational needs are met. This was our fourth year and the students that have been in all four years have moved from struggling to being successful in the classroom and their world.

     

    Miles of Smiles Portable Dental Program

    Miles of Smiles provides FREE dental care to Lords Park students. The dental care is provided by a licensed dentist and assistants at the school. 

     

    Illinois Agriculture in the Classroom offers Ag Mags free to all Illinois teachers. The four-page magazines have bright pictures and information about agriculture, classroom activities and agriculture careers.
     
    The Club provides a safe, structured and positive environment for young people after school, during holidays and over summer vacation. 
     
    Lords Park Elementary School also partners with the National Energy Foundation and Color Portraits
