    The Bilingual Parent Advisory Committee (BPAC) consists of parents interested in being proactive in their child's education. A primary objective of the committee is to establish a clear and collaborative voice between families with students in the Dual Language Program at our school sites and School District U-46. 
     

    El Comité Asesor de Padres Bilingües (BPAC) está formado por padres con en el interés de una participación proactiva en la educación de sus hijos. Un objetivo primordial del comité es establecer una voz clara y colaborativa entre las familias con estudiantes en el Programa de Educación Multilingüe y Multicultural (MME por sus siglas en inglés) en nuestras escuelas y el Distrito Escolar U-46.

     

  • BPAC is for all families participating in our Dual Language and ESL Program.

    Starting with the 2024-25 school year, these meetings will now be offered in both English and Spanish to allow more families to participate. BPAC gathers four times a year to dive into important topics related to U-46 programs and the community.

    Also new this year, the sessions of the Dual Language Parent Support Group will be offered as part of the BPAC gathering.

    Families who participate in all four sessions will have the chance to enter a raffle for an iPad awarded at the last meeting.

    Meetings for the 2024-25 School Year | Reuniones para el año escolar 2024-25

    The dates for the 2024-25 BPAC meetings/Dual Language Support Group sessions are listed below, and they are also included in the District's website calendar. The meetings will take place from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. with some via Zoom and some in-person.

    Las fechas de las reuniones de BPAC/del Grupo de Apoyo para Padres del Programa de Lenguaje Dual para el año escolar 2024-25 se encuentran abajo, y también en la página web del Calendario del Distrito. Las reuniones son de 6 p.m. a 8 p.m. con algunas de manera virtual y con algunas de presencial.

    All U-46 parents are invited to attend our events and meetings! The meetings are held in Spanish and English. 

    ¡Todos los padres del Distrito U-46 están invitados a nuestros eventos y reuniones! Las reuniones son en español y ingles.
