Staying Healthy in the Winter Months
-
Cold and Flu Season
According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), the viruses that cause the flu typically circulate during the winter months, which is known as "flu season." Typically, flu activity peaks between December and February. Fortunately, there are many things we can do to help stop the spread of cold and flu viruses.

Classroom Food/Treats
To provide an allergy-safe and healthy environment in our schools, food-related celebrations or the distribution of snacks to students to eat in the classroom during the school day are not allowed. Instead, we encourage celebrations with non-food items, such as school supplies, paper crafts, etc.
