• Deadline Extended to Apply to U-46's Magnet Academies!

We would like to inform you that the application window for admission to one of U-46’s five Magnet Academies has been extended to 11:59 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 1.

We’ve learned that a high number of students have encountered difficulties submitting their required materials, and we want to allow more time for U-46 staff and the vendor that manages our application platform, Lotterease, to provide assistance.

For support with the application process or if you have any questions, please reach out as soon as possible via one of the following options:

    • Email U46@lotterease.com with details of the problem you’re encountering. If you leave a phone number, a customer service representative will call you back.

    • Call Lotterease at 847-857-6752 between the hours of 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. on weekdays.

    • Call Milena Nedeljkovic in U-46’s Postsecondary Success Department at 847-888-5000 ext. 5308. Please leave a detailed message and your phone number.

    • Contact magnetacademies@u-46.org. This option is particularly good for families who need assistance in a language other than English.

If your 8th grader has already submitted their application, they can revise it until the extended deadline.

We look forward to supporting our families who are interested in applying to the Magnet Academies.
