Partnerships

  • Crossroads
Parkwood is fortunate to partner with the Community Outreach program, Crossroads. Led by Matt Armstrong, students can take part in the mentor program and Boy Scouts. Streamwood Lanes Bowling Alley also lends a hand in supporting our students with the Boy Scouts.

    Hanover Park Police Department
The Hanover Park Police Department partners with Parkwood by providing assemblies to present topics that are identified by school administrators as being among their top concerns. The ‘Assembly Team’ is comprised of officers currently assigned to street patrol, investigations, and the strategic enforcement program.

    Hanover Township
Hanover Township provides the opportunity for Parkwood students to utilize the gym facilities at Open Gym every Friday. They provide adult supervision and activities to promote a positive after-school program for our children.
Camcraft, located in Hanover Park, is a hydraulics and flow component specialist which produces both on and off-highway engine system components. At Parkwood Elementary, we are fortunate to partner with Camcraft. Their affiliation with Parkwood presents opportunities for mentorship. It also helps inform energetic, bright students’ understanding of modern manufacturing.

Their employees reinforce the importance of education in their lives and in their future success as productive, engaging and responsible citizens. This relationship has not only helped to develop young minds for the workplace but has also shown Camcraft team volunteers the reward of investing in our community and its future.
