Ridge Circle School Safety

  • District U-46 and Ridge Circle are entrusted to provide a safe and healthy learning environment for your child each and every day. Our families expect our school to keep children safe from threats, including human-caused emergencies such as crime and violence, as well as hazards like natural disasters, disease outbreaks, and accidents. Preparedness is a shared responsibility. With this in mind, safety is of the utmost concern within Ridge Circle.  As a result:

    • Teachers and vetted adults must wear a District-U46 ID at all times.

    • All outside doors must be closed and locked at all times.

    • District employees may only gain entry to the building with a District U-46 FOB.

    • Students will not open doors for adults/other students.

    • All visitors must immediately report to the main/front office upon entry.

    • Visitors should be expected to answer security questions by office personal.

    • A government  photo issued ID must be available.
