Hello!  I have been teaching band at Abbott since 2011 and been in U46 since 2006.  I love having the opportunity to work with students for up to four years as they begin their band journeys!  

I received my Bachelor of Music Education from Illinois Wesleyan University (Bloomington, IL) in 2005 and my Master of Music Education from VanderCook College of Music (Chicago, IL) in 2016.  I began my band journey in 5th grade on the flute, but now enjoy playing all of the instruments right alongside the students!

I live in Lake in the Hills with my husband David (a high school choir director in LaGrange) and two sons Micah (3rd grade) and Jonah (1st grade)
