The primary election date in Illinois had originally been scheduled for March 15, 2022, and because we allow our school sites to be used as polling locations, that was going to be a student non-attendance day.

However, the date for the primary election has been moved to June 28, 2022.

Therefore, Tuesday, March 15 will now be a student attendance day. This allows us to move the final day of classes to Friday, May 27, 2022 - as long as we don’t have to use any emergency days. A positive part of this development is that holding the final date of classes on May 27 would be before Memorial Day and before high school graduation ceremonies.
