Blue Stars
The Special Olympics is the largest sports organization for children and adults with intellectual disabilities. The Special Olympics serves more than 3 million athletes in more than 175 countries. District U-46 is the proud home of our own Special Olympics team, the “U-46 Blue Stars. U-46 offers four sports throughout the school year. Each season is 8 weeks long and ends with a regional tournament and an opportunity to advance to state competitions.
