  • National Scholarships are a selection of just that -- scholarships from around the nation. Most have a limited number of winners, so the likelihood of your receiving an award depends on the number of applicants. The finanical awards provided by national scholarships are often quite lucrative so include some of these in your scholarship search!

    ShinDig Scholarship  $1,000 Open to all students enrolled in accredited academic institutions, and high school seniors who are enrolling upon graduation. Students of all majors and intended majors are welcome to participate. Applicants must be residents of the United states. Applicants must be at least 16 years of age.     Questbridge varies - but can be significant QuestBridge National College Match is designed for high school seniors who have shown outstanding academic ability despite facing economic challenges. Most College Match scholarship recipients come from households earning less than $60,000 annually (for a typical family of four) and have experienced long-term economic hardship. 9/27/17
    OMG Scholarship $500.00 Be between the ages of 16 and 25 on September 30th, 2015. Submit answers to the essay questions, Have at least one full year of post secondary studies remaining at the time of the award.     AES Engineering Scholarshiop $500.00 Scholarship will be awarded on character, as determined by essays submitted. Available to high school seniors and all students attending a post secondary educational facility.  Not required to be taking Engineering courses to be eligible. 10/7/17 info
    Jif Most Creative Peanut Butter Sandwich Contest One award: $25,000 college fund. Four awards of $2,500 college fund No scholarship, financial need, or high GPA required. Create a unique peanut butter sandwich and submit it to the Jif website. 10/11/17
    Bruce Fishkin Scholarship Fund Full ride for eight semesters. Includes funding for tuition, room, board, books, supplies, and necessary equipment required for course load. 3.0 or higher GPA, ACT 22+, and submit an essay. Selection is based upon application essays, followed by personal interviews.     Coca Cola Scholars Scholarship 50 awards of $20,000. 200 awards of $10,000. Applications accepted August through October 31 of applicant’s senior year. Applicant must have 3.0 GPA of higher at the end of their Junior year, and must also be a US citizen. 2,200 applicants will be selected as semi-finalists and will complete a second application with essays, transcripts, and 2 letters of recommendation. 250 will be selected as finalists and be asked to attend an in-person interview in Atlanta, GA. 10/31/17
    Posse Foundation full ride Each fall, students are nominated by high schools and community-based organizations for their leadership and academic potential. Posse partner colleges and universities award merit-based leadership scholarships to multicultural teams of 10 students each. 11/1/17
    Stick or Treat Jack O Lantern Duct Tape Contest $1000 first place each, $500 second place each, $250 third place each. No scholarship, financial need, or high GPA required. Use duct tape to decorate a pumpkin, either real or fake, and enter a photograph to the online contest. Your Halloween duct tape pumpkin design must be original and unique.     Jack Kent Cooke Foundation Scholarships Up to $40,000 per year The Jack Kent Cooke Foudnation offers the largest scholarships available to exceptionally high achieving, low-income students. No restriction on background, race, ethnicity, religion, gender, political affiliation or citizenship status. Other requirements are an unweighted GPA of at least 3.5 and an ACT score of 26. 11/3/17 Applicaiton and Information

    Stokes Educational Scholarship Program up to $30,000 For students interested in the National Security Agency. preferred candidates will be minority students interested in computer science or computer/electrical engineering.     Healthy Lifestyles Scholarship $5,000.00 No scholarship, financial need, or high GPA required. Write a 1000 word essay about why a healthy lifestyle is important, and a description of your goals. Do not need to be healthy in order to win. 12/15/17
    NFIB Young Entrepreneur Foundation Scholarship $1,000.00 High school senior or any student entering his or her freshman year at an accredited two or four year college, university, or vocational/technical institute. The applicant should demonstrate entrepreneurial spirit and initiative, such as starting his or her own business, participation in organizations such as DECA, Future Business Leaders of America, Future Farmers of America, Junior Achievement, and the National Foundation for Teaching Entrepreneurship among others, or through other initiatives. 12/17/17

    Dr. Juan Andrade Jr. Scholarship $1,000.00 Scholarship to recognize young Hispanic leaders. This scholarship is for students who have at least one parent of Hispanic ancestry.     Ronald McDonald House Charities Scholarships Various awards for four scholarships Students may only apply for 1/4 scholarships offered by local RMHC. RMHC/Scholars is open to all students regardless of race, color, creed, etc. RMHC/Asia is for students of Asian-Pacific decent.     Daughters of the American Revolution Varies The NSDAR awards multiple scholarships to students showing dedication to the pursuit of degrees in diverse disciplines. All multi-year scholarships, typically renewable up to four years, must be for consecutive years of attendance at an accredited college or university in the United States. 2/15/17

    Society of Women Engineers up to $10,000 SWE Scholarships support women pursuing ABET-accredited baccalaureate or graduate programs in preparation for careers in engineering, engineering technology and computer science in the United States and Mexico.
