U-46 invites community groups to rent our facilities for community programs, sporting events and other meetings that benefit our communities and schools. To learn about renting our U-46 facilities, read the Facility Rentals Procedures and Handbook.
Facility Rental Procedures
Please read and understand the rules and regulations of the District Rental program, especially the sections on insurance requirements, contract obligations, deposits and final payment terms. Please call the Rental Program with any questions at 847-888-5000 ext. 4200, Monday through Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
NOTE: A certificate of insurance, listing U-46 as the certificate holder as follows: School District U-46, 355 E. Chicago Street, Elgin IL 60120, is required to create an account in ML Schedules. A User Account request will not be approved without a correct, current certificate loaded into ML Schedules.
NOTE: For any group that falls under the group 4 category as a Non-Profit, must provide a 501-(c)(3) certificate.
When the Rental Request is received, the request is checked for the permissibility of the event, the rental group classification and for space availability.
No rental event will be considered 'booked' until after receiving the signed contract, a copy of the insurance certificate, 501-(c)(3) if applicable, has gone through the approval process, and the required deposit or full rental payment has been received.
After the rental event, a final cost is compiled and the renter is invoiced for the final balance. All payments are due upon receipt of the invoice.
School District U-46 is now using ML Schedules Facility Request system (often called Master Library) to book all internal activities/events & external rentals on U-46 property.
External Rental users must REGISTER as a First Time User and create an account if you have not already done so before you can Request a Facility.

FIRST TIME USER
The first step needed to make an online facility use request is to create a user account to REGISTER. Be sure to complete all information fields, and then click the submit button. If your registration was successful, you will receive an e-mail confirmation.
REQUEST A FACILITY
Once your account is created, you can start making facility reservations. Click here: LOGIN (password reset is available on the login page)
