U-46 district-owned iPads are now being managed under Airwatch - a mobile device management software solution the district purchased in 2015.  Under Airwatch, we are able to allow staff to download and install apps on their device that have been approved for inclusion in our Airwatch app catalog managed by the Information Services department.  As of December 2016, there are 240 approved applications in our catalog listed by the date in which they were added. 

U-46 Airwatch App Catalog

Teachers are asked to review the apps in the U-46 Airwatch catalog before requesting a new app be added. Please note that our goal is to have a manageable list of high quality apps available in the catalog, and the goal of the review process is to try to prevent offering multiple apps that serve the same purpose. 

• Once you have determined that the app you are interested in is not yet in the app catalog, please fill out the iPad Application Purchasing Request Form.

• Your app request will be reviewed by the Instructional Technology Leadership Committee.  

• You will receive an email indicating if your request has been approved or denied.

• If your request is approved, a ticket will be created through Information Services and your requested application will be added to the Airwatch catalog

• If you request is denied, you will receive an e-mail asking you to share more information and/or an explanation for why it was denied.
