• Report Your Child’s Absence Online Using Infinite Campus

    Infinite Campus Parent Portal IconParents/guardians at Elgin High School, Larsen Middle School, and Channing, Lords Park and McKinley elementary schools will be part of a pilot program where you can report student absences directly through the Infinite Campus Parent Portal. This pilot offers a convenient, streamlined way to manage your child's attendance. 

    How It Works

    • Log into Infinite Campus using your parent account (student accounts cannot access this feature).
    • Go to the 'More' section.
    • Choose the 'Report Absence' option, select the date(s), and provide the reason for your child’s absence.

    Once you’ve reviewed the details, click ‘Submit,’ and you will see a confirmation message that your submission has been received. Schools will either accept the request, which will appear in the Parent Portal, or will contact the family for additional information.

    Important Reminders

    • Please use your parent account (not a student account) to report absences.
    • You will receive a confirmation once the absence is recorded.
    • Parents/guardians can view grades, assignments, and attendance records in the Infinite Campus Parent Portal.
