Local contractors are invited to attend an information meeting at 8:30 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 8 in the auditorium of the U-46 Welcome Center, 1019 E. Chicago St. in Elgin, to learn more about the Kimball and Rohrssen Road middle school projects and encourage them to submit bids when bidding opens. To register, visit https://tinyurl.com/2vjrvaty.
The session will include project overviews, project schedules, bid package plans, prequalification process, and economic inclusion goals for the project.
