Five students in the precision manufacturing class at South Elgin High School qualified and passed the National Institute of Metalworking Skills (NIMS) certification test earning their credentials. U-46 students can earn college credit and test their proficiency through NIMS, which provides a rigorous and comprehensive accreditation program that represents an important seal of approval within the manufacturing industry.
