On Thursday, April 6, 2023, 11th grade students enrolled in English Language Arts 3 or AP English Language, and U.S History or AP U.S. History, will participate in a virtual Post-Secondary Fair during their English and U.S. history courses. Students in specific special education programs, ILP, MLP, EN1, EN2, and transition, will have a regular school day.
Sessions will feature representatives from a variety of colleges and universities, community colleges, trade schools, and military branches. There will also be presentations on filling out the Free Application for Federal State Aid (FAFSA), NCAA requirements for playing athletics in college, and developing job skills for employment. The schedule can be viewed below.
Students can begin signing up for their preferred virtual sessions now, but they'll also get more information about the event from their English and U.S. history teachers starting April 3. While advance registration is preferred, students can sign-up for the sessions up until the start time.
Recordings will be available for parents and guardians to view after April 6. Links to those recordings will be available on this page.
