Content: A one-semester course where students will gain a through understanding of the principals of Macroeconomics, which is the branch that applies to an economic system as a whole. This course emphasizes the study of national income and price-level determination, and also develops students. Familiarity with economic performance measures, the financial sector, stabilization polices, economic growth, and international economics. Student will be prepared to take the AP exam in Macroeconomics. A balance is sought between economic theory and consumer-oriented economics to comply with state mandated study of consumer economics.
