LEAD Academy Aspiring Leaders Scholarship
-
This scholarship is being offered for the first time to Class of 2025 seniors from Streamwood High School’s LEAD Academy only. It is a $2,500 scholarship, awarded to one student per year.
The Leadership Entrepreneurship Action & Design (LEAD) Academy at Streamwood High School (a Magnet Schools of America Nationally Certified Program (2022), offers an innovative program where students learn to be problem solvers and innovators in a collaborative environment. In response to the needs of domestic and global economies, students learn how to incorporate innovation, design thinking, and lean startup practices into their skills portfolio to launch them into success as they complete the program in preparation for individualized post-secondary plans.
Students who apply for the LEAD scholarship will be scored on their academic achievement during high school, the persuasiveness and mechanics of their essay submission, and a teacher or staff recommendation.
The scholarship award is managed by the U-46 Educational Foundation. For more information, email foundation@u-46.org.
