SLO Process Exemptions 2022-2023
The Teacher Appraisal Plan is comprised of two components: Professional Practice and Student Growth. While all teachers working under the Elgin Agreement must have the Professional Practice component as part of their appraisal plan, there are positions excluded from the Student Growth component. Linked is a list of positions in U-46 excluded per Statute or by the agreement of the TAP Oversight Committee for the 2022-2023 school year.
In cases where an individual holds a position that includes both teaching and non-teaching duties, student growth must be a part of the performance evaluation of the teaching duties.
