All of your parents want you to be better, to thrive, to achieve your highest potential. In order to make them proud, to make ourselves proud, we must work hard towards our futures.
What is a challenge that you have overcome as a first-generation college student?
A challenge I have overcome is filing the FAFSA and learning where to start when it comes to colleges and universities.
What does it mean to you to receive the Superintendent’s Scholarship?
This means that I am able to work towards my future. I have the motivation and grit in order to pursue my medical career and with help, I am able to materialize that dream and grow up to save lives.
