What school will you be attending in the fall?

University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign

What Major will you study?

Business

What is the most important thing you learned in high school?

Life is dynamic, nothing is permanent. Friends are fluid, grades change, and people come and go. High school is a rotating door of experiences, and I learned that you just have to go with the flow or you'll get stuck stressing about things you can't control.

What is your favorite high school memory?

Outside of school, going to see Hamilton with the AP US History classes. Inside of school, simply all the small moments with friends and teachers that made BHS a place I could find fun and laughter in every day.

What was your favorite class or learning experience?

My favorite class was either AP Psychology or Creative Writing.

What advice would you give to incoming freshmen?

Don't take high school too seriously. It's important to manage your time and remember your priorities, but don't stress so hard about everything. Have fun, meet new people, join clubs, and participate in the non-academic life of BHS.

What or who do you account for your academic success and ranking in the top 2 percent of your senior class?

My parents and luck. My parents have never been overbearing in my academics, they have simply acted as guides in raising me to be an individual who wants to get good grades and do well simply to please myself. Thanks to them, I have turned into someone who is proud to say I enjoy challenges and pursue success due to my own motivations.
