What is the most important thing you learned in high school?
Throughout high school, I have learned that I need to balance my education, extracurriculars, and sports in order to successfully be ready for college.
What is your favorite high school memory?
My favorite memory of high school is my senior year HOSA state experience. I was able to compete in team and individual events and received three medals and the HOSA scholarship as well. This experience allowed me to further grow my teamwork and hard working abilities.
What was your favorite class or learning experience?
My favorite learning experience has been my Junior year EDD course in which we were tasked to work with a team and create or innovate a product throughout the course of a year.
What advice would you give to incoming freshmen?
I know that many people will say time management is important, but I think the best thing to do is find a way to remember what you need to do and when it is due. Using a unique time management system will help you manage your classes, extracurriculars, and sports, and truly be ready for college and the future.
What or who do you account for your academic success and ranking in the top 2 percent of your senior class?
My academic success occurred through the guidance and support of my family. As a child, my parents always encouraged me to push my limits, study ahead, and pursue my passions. I think that their motivation and encouragement has helped me succeed in my endeavors throughout high school.
