What is the most important thing you learned in high school?

You have to take care of yourself before you can take care of others.

What is your favorite high school memory?

My freshman year, I was the stage manager for The Wizard of Oz. It was a beautiful and chaotic experience.

What was your favorite class or learning experience?

My favorite class was Ryan Sim's AP World History.

What advice would you give to incoming freshmen?

Do your homework, learn to read your textbooks.

What or who do you account for your academic success and ranking in the top 2 percent of your senior class?

Part of it is that my parents had the time and money to support our family, so I had time to study instead of work or take care of my siblings. I also have a growth mindset and internal locus of control.
