What is the most important thing you learned in high school?

The most important thing I learned in high school was to be open to new things. Throughout the past 4 years of high school, I became more open to trying new activities and going to new events. From joining class council my freshman year to becoming a freshman experience leader my junior year, all the new experiences were worth it.

What is your favorite high school memory?

My favorite high school memory is homecoming week my senior year. Since it was the last homecoming for the seniors, we went all out in school spirit. It was fun to go undefeated all 4 years for powderpuff, win class chant at the homecoming assembly, and also have our football team win our homecoming game. All these events and activities have held a special place in my memory and I will never forget it.

What was your favorite class or learning experience?

My favorite class was AP Psychology. I took the class because I plan to major in Psychology and I enjoy the topic. But also my teacher, Mr. Fash, makes class energetic and exciting. He has a passion for the topic and it shows when he teaches us about Psychology.

What advice would you give to incoming freshmen?

The best advice I would give to incoming freshmen is to not be afraid to step out of your comfort zone. There are so many activities in high school that you are able to attend and join, do not be afraid of trying something new. Who knows, you may end up loving it.

What or who do you account for your academic success and ranking in the top 2 percent of your senior class?

I account my academic success and ranking in the top 2 percent of my senior class to my parents, especially my mom. My mom always pushed me to be the best person I could be and do my best in everything I decide to do. Throughout high school, I never lost that drive to do well academically while also staying involved in school.
