What school will you be attending in the fall?
Pepperdine University.

What is the most important thing you learned in high school?
Larkin taught me how important it is to value diversity and that embracing it strengthens communities. I have met so many incredible people the last four years who have a special pride in their culture, as well as an appreciation for each other’s cultures. When we all come together, we have good times and I hope to experience more of this empowering diversity in college.

What is your favorite high school memory?
My favorite high school memory has to be among the Friday night football games. Whether it was chanting in the stands with my class or dancing on the field with my best friends, I always felt so lucky to have such a good high school experience with so many fun people!

What was your favorite class or learning experience?
My favorite class has got to be dance academy. It has been a dream to be a part of for all four years. Getting to end every day dancing with my best friends and learning from incredible teachers has been such a cool experience.

Share your best advice for incoming freshmen.
Find your group and stick with them! Be nice to everyone, stay out of any drama, and don’t get too stressed over some grades that won’t matter in the long run. Find ways to make even the most ordinary school days exciting!  At the end of the day you’ll only remember the memories you made with your best friends.

What or who do you account for your academic success and ranking in the top 2 percent of your senior class?
My parents, of course, for always supporting me! And also my best friends who I have had endless late night study dates with.

What are you learning about yourself and the world as we collectively face this global pandemic?
I am learning that we can’t take anything for granted. We never know the last time we’ll experience something so we have to make the most of every single day and truly appreciate the people and things around us while we still have them.
