What are your post-high school plans?

I will be attending the University of California, Los Angeles and studying computer science and engineering.

What is the most important thing you learned in high school?

The most important thing I learned in high school was being able to manage my time well to find the balance between academics, extracurriculars, and spending time with friends and family.

What is your favorite high school memory?

My favorite memory is the SASA show. It is a dance performance put on by the South Asian Student Association at Bartlett, and is a fantastic way to display our culture. Hundreds of people get to see an entire year's worth of hard work come together, and I was able to form friendships with students across all grades.

What was your favorite class or learning experience?

My favorite class was senior tech because I was able to create my own senior tech project, a quadcopter, based on my experiences from previous engineering courses.

Share your best advice for incoming freshmen:

Try everything! Whether it is a club that sounds interesting, a sport that you have never played before, or a subject that you want to learn more about; try it all because it may end up being something you truly enjoy.

What or who do you acknowledge for your academic success, and ranking in the top 2 percent of your senior class?

I dedicate my academic success to my family, teachers, and friends because they always supported me and pushed me to try my best in everything.

What life lessons or observations have you gained about yourself, and the world, during the 2020-21 school year?

During this difficult year, a life lesson I gained was to not take any of the little things for granted and appreciate what I have because the whole world can change very quickly.
