What are your post-high school plans?

I will be attending DePaul University and majoring in animation.

What is the most important thing you learned in high school?

I learned that it's always okay to ask questions if you're not sure of something.

What is your favorite high school memory?

My favorite memory was when my friends and I went to go "bug-hunting" at a lake for AP Environmental Science. We had a lot of fun chasing bugs and laughing!

What was your favorite class or learning experience?

My favorite class was AP Environmental Science! My teacher, Mrs. Fowle, is the nicest teacher and makes the class very engaging and fun! I really loved to learn in her class.

Share your best advice for incoming freshmen:

Try not to overwork yourself with school! Your health is more important, so try to take breaks when you can!

What or who do you acknowledge for your academic success, and ranking in the top 2 percent of your senior class?

I worked really hard on keeping the best grades that I could manage, and my friends helped me keep going with their support.

What life lessons or observations have you gained about yourself, and the world, during the 2020-21 school year?

I have learned that I don't have to overthink every little thing, that I should try to make the most of the moment and enjoy. I used to be extremely anxious, and while I can still be, I have gotten better at managing myself and my worries.
