What are your post-high school plans?

I will be attending Lake Forest College, and will be studying biology, with a focus in environmental science.

What is the most important thing you learned in high school?

How to advocate for myself and be independent.

What is your favorite high school memory?

My favorite high school memory was during my sophomore year when a lab group from a chemistry class set the counter on fire and the whole school had to be evacuated.

What was your favorite class or learning experience?

My favorite class was definitely chemistry because I really enjoyed the subject and had a good teacher.

Share your best advice for incoming freshmen:

Get out of your comfort zone once in a while.

What or who do you acknowledge for your academic success, and ranking in the top 2 percent of your senior class?

My parents pushed me to get the best grades I could, and encouraged me to reach out to my teachers if I was ever confused on an assignment.

What life lessons or observations have you gained about yourself, and the world, during the 2020-21 school year?

I have learned to go with the flow.
