Committees study, develop, debate, and make recommendations to the U-46 Board of Education, so to make a direct impact on recommendations, you’ve got to be actively involved in the work. Committee work is so important because it is the collective work of the diverse families, concerns, and opinions throughout the District.

Committee involvement typically includes one meeting each month in addition to the general meeting. The CAC Executive Committee initially directs the general focus of each committee’s work. The Council’s ongoing focus will be to support the aspirational goals of the District’s Strategic Plan.
